"You make it look so easy!" It's a comment viewers have when watching home improvement and design shows. But the truth is, there are behind-the-scenes gaffs, goofs and blunders all the time. For instance, the right tools and materials may not be on-set when they're needed. Or a length of lumber is cut incorrectly. Or something delicate and valuable breaks.... Viewers may see that deck go up "in a half hour," but it usually takes days - and sometimes weeks - to pull it off. But no matter how badly things go wrong, there's always time for cutting up and cutting loose.
